About us
The highly qualified and professional expert team of P. Photiou & Co Ltd, under the guidance of Pantelis Photiou, a member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom) and of ICPAC (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus) since 1992, shares a common sense of fairness and loyalty, believes in hard work, in interpersonal relationships and in human values, that are ingrained into the company and which match our preference for long-term engagements with companies and individuals.

Our Team
Pandelis E. Photiou
Managing Director
Pandelis Photiou is a fellow member (FCCA) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
He was one of the co-founding partners of PEK Ltd, Chartered Certified Accountants, in 1997 from where he moved and established his own firm, P. Photiou & Co. Limited, in 2011.
Pandelis has extensive experience in the fields of Statutory Audit Services, Taxation Consultancy and International Group Structuring.
The close co-operation Pandelis maintains with the staff of the firm, which he considers to be the most valuable asset of the firm, and with the clients of the firm, ensures that the firm’s goals and objectives are accomplised at the highest level.
During his free time he enjoys travelling, watching sport events and relaxing with his wife and two daughters.

Veronica Kyprianou
Business Development Manager
Veronica Kyprianou holds a degree from University of Nicosia in Accounting and Finance and is a member of the Association of Certified Accounting Technician (CAT).
As the Business Development Manager, she is committed and devoted to the development of the firm since its incorporation in 2011 by having gained substantial experience in the Accounting, Audit and Corporate/Banking Departments of the firm.
Veronica works closely with the staff, the Management, and the Managing Director of the firm, and an important aspect of her work is liaising with clients and business associates of the firm in Cyprus and internationally.
During her free time, she loves travelling and experiencing new cultures and cuisines, and going to the gym.

Chrystalla Gregoriou
Audit Manager
Chrystalla Gregoriou is a fellow member (FCCA) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus after obtaining her BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich, UK.
She started in the firm as an Audit junior in 2011 and due to her efforts and devotion has climbed the corporate ladder and now holds the position of the Manager of the Audit and Assurance Department.
Chrystalla runs the department efficiently and at the same time is involved in the Business Advisory by providing the firm’s clients, both local and international, with appropriate advice and solutions to assist them in operating successfully in their business environments.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Maria Malekkidou
Tax Manager
Maria Malekkidou is a fellow member (FCCA) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus and she also holds the ADIT qualification of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of the UK.
She is the head of the Tax Department of the firm, which she joined in 2018, after an 11-year successful career in other Audit Firms where she gained substantial experience in Auditing and Taxation.
Maria is able to provide proposals and solutions for complicated tax issues and is a part of the team which proposes international company and tax structures to the clients.
She is informed and keeps up to date with local and international changes and developments related to tax matters by attending relevant seminars, and monitoring local and international press and websites, which specialize in taxation and related topics.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and loves traveling and cooking, whenever she can find spare time from her parenting duties.

Elisavet Philippou
Compliance Officer
Elisavet Philippou is a holder of Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Wolverhampton, UK. After attending numerous seminars and workshops, in 2019 she obtained the International Diploma in AML from the (ICA) International Compliance Association and since then she holds the position of the AML Compliance Officer in the firm.
As the KYC and AML requirements have become demanding in today’s business environment, the role of Elisavet is essential in performing due diligence, and other relevant procedures, for individuals and companies, in line with the Anti-Money Laundering Legislation and providing the Managing Director with the appropriate proposals for handling complex and challenging issues.
Outside of the firm she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and reading books.
